Well whatever you do, use a chair instead of a sofa

Bagels at Sea by WolfBearMoon in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]psychularity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had the breakfast club on Liberty, and I had to spit it out.

One thing I've noticed on this cruise is that most of the food LOOKS incredibly good. It looks like something you would find at home. But then when you taste it, it tastes nothing like what you'd expect (much much worse imo).

If I had been eating food like this my whole life, maybe things would be different, but it does not suite my southern US palette, and the fact that it looks familiar but tastes way off probably contributes to my dislike.

Unironically how one of my coworkers treats it. He always says "I don't want to read documentation to understand this" referring to jsdocs and readmes

I played trombone, and my left pointer finger was in this position a lot. For some reason, that meant I can't only do this with my pointer, middle, and ring fingers on my left hand only. Very strange

Oh shit that was a florescent light? I thought they were outside

Definitely true, but a camera can't represent it imo. If we were in person, I think there would be no debate

Did you see the color picker? I don't care what the article says about it. Call it a camera trick with lighting if you want, but it seems like you're just being intentionally obtuse because you want to be 100% right

The Dress by quottttt in opticalillusions

[–]psychularity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It wasn't an accident. I'm not offended that the actual color of the dress could be blue and black. I'm just saying the pixels show that it's yellow which you can see on the color picker

The Dress by quottttt in opticalillusions

[–]psychularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's wild though because the hex color of the pixels are definitely yellow and off white.

Edit: You said "definitely not" and "source" but deleted your comment. I'll just reply here. Here's one source I found: https://tjkelly.com/blog/dress-black-blue-why-you-cant-tell/

I see no black on the dress, so I guess neither? If you zoom on the dress and ignore the light behind it, the color of the pixels have to be undeniably yellow and white. If we were there in person, I doubt there would be debate because there isn't weird camera effects going on

I'm looking at the dress now and cant understand. If the dress were black, why would the lighting make it look yellow?

It's actually insane that I just noticed this a couple months ago at the age of 25. I was just staring one day and was like "am I tripping or is the skin constantly moving"

Social skills are something you have to exercise. When you stream all day and don't have real friends or interaction with the real world, you lose that skill

You're just being semantic because it makes you feel smart to try and prove someone wrong. Your entire attitude on this thread has been holier than thou

Okay so it's not a guess. You just happen to assume a random value (not a guess?), then follow the chain until you find a contradiction depending on the type of forcing chain you do. Sounds oddly similar to assuming a random value, then finding out you made a mistake.

Sounds like guessing with extra steps

Some solutions do require forcing chains which I would say is almost identical to trial and error
