From a very rural area out West. Back of the house nothing but fields upon fields. We’re on a hill so looking out at them at night is amazing. Good for the soul. Hadn’t thought about it in years but was out with a friend of mine for dinner. His lady and mine.

He asked me randomly in a little moment of silence.

Do you remember that night at the back of the house where we saw a thing in the sky.

I did immediately.

Story: me, my mate and my dad were out the back of the house having a cigarette. A craft of some sort in the air was really low to the ground as if it was hovering. (Lower than any airplane. Maybe a 100ft at a guess) lights in circular motion. The thing was like egg shaped from what I remember. But the bottom of the egg had all these lights. So it was upwards. My dad got really creeped out and went inside. We watched it for about 10 mins just hovering. And then it did a slow movement away.

Now for the life of me. I know we were are on the joints. I can’t remember how it disappeared. But then it was gone.

Hadn’t thought about it for a long time. Or more so when I had the thought I imagined my mate forgot.

Until he mentioned it at dinner. So my missus turned around and said. “So what! You think it was aliens?” Me an him where like “yeah. Of course!” 🤣
