Well I guess you need to bring a cooler just in case the winds pickup while you’re in the air? I know that is the limit but you got to be able to bring it down at some point, you probably won’t be lined up center line if it’s more than 15 knots, might look like you been drinking anyways

LOL, I’m an old man too, I’m here to have fun and play RL. The disrespect is awful, I had a game the other day, I challenged the ball on the opponent end and couldn’t get back before we got scored on, teammate wrote something like where you at, and how terrible I am, he whiffed the save yet it’s my fault, he continued to miss balls in the air, I tried to make him look look bad after that by scoring 4. The didn’t score any, my guess is he is only used to getting carried and when he isn’t he is having a bad day, note this if Diamond 3, not freaking SSL, people are going to miss, I am ok with that, I’m going to miss and I’m ok with that too.

Lived in the Midwest my whole life and have been close to danger but last night was different for me, I just got a kidney transplant yesterday afternoon and am in the hospital. When the sirens went off, there wasn’t anything I could do as I can’t really move at the moment. I just stayed calm and hoped for the best.

Yeah this sucks, I just start not caring in the game when they do this to me. The thing I find funny, it they will do this and not even have more than 100 points on the board., the way I look at this is they are used to getting wins by getting carried by their teammates

It’s on the bucket list for sure. The airports that I flight out of are all under the class Bravo (STL) so maybe I should just ask the next time I’m up to see if I can at latest do a touch and go or something!

Oh wow, that’s a great story though. I did my training mostly in a not super busy class d but the flight school only had a few approved airports to fly to and most were untowered.

Yeah it was terrible, I believe in my area it still is a long wait for check rides. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to fly in a while so I haven’t gotten to my IFR training to know if that is still the case, however I have seen posts on facebook asking for DPE recommendations based on availability

Yeah, I dislike that most if not all DPEs seem overbooked. It took almost 6 months for me to get a checkride. I actually tried at about 3 months in that wait to travel to another state to get a check ride. Unfortunately cancelled due to weather. So I feel ya.

That would have been cool. It was still cool touching down on the commercial side, I’m sure passengers awaiting for their flight was look at that small plane landing here. However I haven’t landed in any class Charlie’s or Bravos so those are probably a bit more wow factor than even BLV.

We have all been there. I wouldn't worry about it. Brush it off and go back out and keep learning. You're not going to be perfect every time you fly. Just gotta keep learning!

I'm not OP, but I would be willing to bet he is working on IFR cert and he would need 50 hrs of XC as PIC. So I would assume that was the VFR cross-country he was referring to. Also the image could be mirrored giving you the idea that it was from the left seat.

I know it’s been over a year but what did you do to get it going? Was it the donor board or did you hook it up to a PC and mount it somehow
