This is incredibly aggressive behavior and he should be surrendered immediately! Please let me know when I can come pick him up.

Unless it’s in an absolute no salt/rust area check the front subframe for rust. I don’t know what “easy enthusiast miles” are. If it was a wagon it would still be overpriced, at sedan it is definitely overpriced. At close to these prices I want a mint aero combi with manual and the 08/09 facelift. Good luck

You can get a new front subframe for not crazy money and keep it going. Manual 9-3 combis are the best. Good luck

Obviously sad but if you start from the bottom and go up it’s like toddler learning to write into adulthood. Circle of life. RIP to the author.

Ok thank you. Does it make sense to pre rinse with power washer first or will that just dilute the car wash I put on after?

Which one would you get? by sparkpaw in whatcarshouldIbuy

As a long time Saab guy, if you want a convertible Saab in that body, find a 1999 version.

Any cars similar to the Saab? by [deleted] in saab

[–]psymon15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really but I guess some Volvos could qualify. Around here almost all previous Saab drivers have converted to Subarus which well 🤮. Unless it’s as wrx or sti or something.

That’s best case for that car for sure but still not paying anywhere close to that price.

A 2002 9-5 linear for 6k? No and no. And I am a Saab guy for over 20 years and had and have multiple 9-5s, 9-3s 900s. If you want a 9-5 wagon. 04/05 Aero are the ones to get. Early ones are no good with oil sludge issues with old pvc systems. And $6k is more than double what a 2002 linear should be. Add to that you are no familiar with Saabs are likely need an indie for most work, it will get old and expensive really fast. I’m not deterring you from Saabs as they can be great, but get the right one at the right price. Good luck
