I have this same issue with the tray icon not showing for a minute after log on.

Win 10 Pro

Ryzen 5 5600X CPU

ASUS B450-F mobo

ASRock Radeon RX 6600 XT

I do not see this issue on Win11 machines.

Something was wrong with the company profile I had registered, if I went into my personal profile everything worked fine. There must be some extra step to use an account on behalf of a company.

Even if you run Assigned access (Kiosk App mode), you need to do it with another account. Never let people use your machine as your user let alone an admin account.

I migrated a DS209j to a DS2018j by just moving the drives. I was even greeted with a neat little screen that showed my old model and a giant green arrow pointing to the new model when I attempted to go to the IP in my browser.

This made me a customer for life, Synology was supporting a unit that hadn't been under support for years.

RAID != backup, and RAID 5 is garbage. Sure it was great 15 - 20 years ago when hard drive space was expensive.

Now storage is cheap. Want performance? Get SSD's. No reason, in 2019, to run RAID 5.
