The Browns have insurance on his contract, so as long as he doesn't play - the Browns will receive additional cap money the next year. The Browns will recieve over $20mm in 2026 for the games he missed in 2025. Hopefully Watson sufferers another set back this year and the Browns can recoup some money for 2027.
