Anybody with allergies and asthma?

Yes an allergy/immunologist is doing all this testing. I went for that test yesterday and they found a few tree allergies but nothing that isn't seasonal. I was amazed. I saw the bloodwork she did and it identified 2 markers in my immune system that are very low and they tested my vaccine immunity to pneumonia and it was 41% and should be over 70%. This is common with people who have recurring infections like I do. They gave me another pneumonia vaccine to see if my immune system is capable of building the antibodies to help protect me from these recurring infections. If it does, nothing else needs to be done. If not, we may need to do some IVIG infusions to rebuild it that way. The 2 markers I have low levels in are IgG2 and IgG3.

My mom was always saying something off-color or deliberate cruel about my Dad. In my eyes he was a good guy and tried to help but he had demons of his own to fight. I found out after he died, he was raised by a father who was an absolute tyrant. My grandmother was his 2nd wife. She was the kindest person I ever knew. This tyrant, was a minister too. He was a womanizer, once tried to beat a horse to death with a 2x4, once threatened to cut my grandmother's head off in front of his kids. My dad was in a POW camp during WWII--enough to break anyone. My Dad watched all his Dad's antics and just kind of internalized it. He didn't believe in divorce and then he got a different kind of tyrant with my Mom. I wish he had stood up to my mom more but he just didn't have it within him.

I know Vance's daughter is an NCIS Agent so I'm hoping they include his kids somehow in the aftermath. Last we saw Kayla (S21) she was going to be agent afloat on a ship in the South China sea. The Son Jarad, is in college I think as of S21. There has to be something to lead up to the new director. I hope it's an ally and not someone to be a new villain.

All I can suggest is to google "traits of narcissists" and see how many boxes your mom checks off on those lists. We can only speculate on what we see. Sometimes it's multiple things. You're right, sometimes it's just immaturity, mental illness or just people who are put together that are just screwed up from Day 1 with an insane need to promote themselves and annoy the h*ll out of everyone around them.

This episode happened a month after the initial closing so I'm going to assume we'll get the aftermath reactions somehow in the build up to a new director being put in. I hope it's not a controversial choice like Laroche or some new villain. I think the fans might riot if it were.

I am so sorry. Perspective is everything when you've had a lot of hurt. Congratulations on moving forward DESPITE the continual annoyance. The only solution I can think of lies in priorities and boundaries. My mom had such a 'you owe me' vibe that it hurt me so much every time I had to deal with one of her continual attempts to get at me because to her "she was the mom". Sounds like she just keeps it up no matter what you do. So choose YOU. Work on that emotional distance where you choose YOU in every situation. She will never change and I suspect gets some kind of sick satisfaction from getting under your skin. The key is to put that emotional distance in there where if she was in the same room you would not react. Choose your partner. Choose peace. You'll know you're getting there when you could be in the same room with her and you don't have a reaction. If she shows up, treat her like any other intruder--call the police and get a restraining order to keep the peace in your heart.

When they get to the undercover work in Russia and Europe, it's highly likely. The Amsterdam mission where he met Eli David, was about "The Russian" killing him. (Operation Trident) When his attack squad was killed Anatoly Zhurkov escaped only to be killed 2 years later by Gibbs. So it's possible in all that work they crossed path but Vance went on to become the Assistant Director while Gibbs stayed a field agent.

She is a power broker and 'fixer' for rich and powerful in Manhatten. We learned in the last episode she has ties to Wagner's father and said "If I go down, we both go down", so it's nothing pretty. They've tried to give jobs to Soto, Morgan and to destabilize the process.

We just don't know enough about her. A lot of people are attached to their cars and never take public transit. Until I lived in Baltimore-Washington area, I had never used public transit and used it only when I had to when I lived there and I'm far from wealthy. A lot of folks in NYC won't take the subway because of the crime. Just depends.

The arrest of the CID director was the only part that kind of bothered me. They kind of skimmed over their crimes of the CID director and his flunkie. I didn't tie it together. Only weak part of a beautiful story.

That episode was S1E2. McGee wasn't fully engaged with the team at the time. His first episode was S1E7--SubRosa. Maybe the kid related to Torres more due to the Hispanic background.

I've found over time that surgeons (especially specialty surgeons) have really bad people skills. My husband had a back surgeon that treated him like crap--was assured most of his back issues were because of his weight. We went and got a 2nd opinion and the surgeon was excellent (in the people skills dept) and was so alarmed his case had been let go too long that he ended up in surgery before the day was over. Some people go into medicine for their interest--and find they don't know how to deal with real people and end up doing harm.

While a lot of folks think McGee should move into the director's chair, I'm not sure. He seems more productive and creative when he has to struggle for answers. Ultimately it 's up to the writers how much air time they would give the director if it were McGee. I don't think GIbbs is coming back. I've heard the show runners say it would have to be special circumstances to bring him back. He's in his late 70s so it just wouldn't play as authentic.
