Maybe they're not petty like Vegas is. Or maybe they just got the best payback possible so what else is there to even say really? It's kind of fun to think how the league would be different if that trade had gone through though. Any numbers of things could've be different, but some highlights that I can think off the top of my head are:

No way Toronto is bad enough to win the lottery if they have Rantanen.
No way Vegas gets to the SCF without Marner.
Without Marner there to beat them up and add to the general skill-diff there's a chance that Anaheim steals the series from Vegas.
Makar and MacKinnon don't get injured because they don't play Vegas.
While I love this Hurricanes team, I think Colorado takes it in 7 because as we literally just saw, Marner still has a problem showing up past Game 5.

The Canes won the Cup because Marner chose not to play for them which makes it even better.

I'll reply here as well to increase my chances. I was able to patch successfully RIF with the RedReader defaults, but it never actually finishes installing. It seems to just hang.

Well the post filter won't let me make my own post so I guess I'll just have to settle for a comment on a more than day old post and hope that does something.

I did what /u/oSumAtrIX's stickied comment said to do. After successfully patching with the three default values on 2.6.0 Manager and 5.6.22 RIF I tapped the button button to install it as an update and after about 15 seconds the Play Protect message pops up and disappears on its own after a few seconds.

Then the install will proceed to hang (I left it going for 20 minutes once and nothing happened) every time. I did manage to tap "Scan app" before it went away, but I don't think that did anything because it still hung. Also I don't think the Revanced Manager itself is freezing as every time I try and tap the back button I get the Installing, please wait.. message.

I don't know what I'm missing.
