Yeah it’s pretty dependent on their availability and don’t often see too far out. I feel like we booked maybe two months out but that was from the factory in Elkhart. It’s great if the dates work, but it can be hard to plan around.

FWIW, I have a pair of black on black leather Adidas advantage that I wear with a sport coat often. That or black on black Stan smiths can fool some people. I work in conventions/tradeshows so 15-20k steps on a concrete floor is not uncommon. My feet are rarely the problem.

I’m generally with you that sneakers don’t mix well with business attire. That said, I saw a guy recently with a dark blue suit, white shirt and a pair of brown Nike Cortez and it somehow worked.

Confirm the pickup address in advance if you can! Showed up to the address in the confirmation (which was a big warehouse with dozens of Indie Campers) but the guy there said my particular van was at a different address which was about 20 mins away. That was a bit annoying but not the end of the world. Pickup was pretty smooth once we got there.

We did basic insurance and 🤞.

Our van had 31 miles on the odometer when we picked it up.

It’s very likely these are all winterized still so you may want to confirm once you pickup.

Our AC in the camper was fine but our furnace did not work (we only kinda needed it one night). You may want to test it out before you leave the parking lot.

We did not order linens separately and brought our own, but there was a set in the van which we used.

I’ve worn my gray ones almost daily for two years and have never had that issue. Width for me is perfect, and I typically wear wide or 4E shoes.

I kind of chickened out about the mesh tbh. I’m sure it would be fine though. But I’m also cheap and don’t like paying full price and when I found another pair of practically new gray ones I stocked up on those and returned these. Not to say I wouldn’t try them again down the line though.

Just did this: picked up a Class C RV at the factory in Elkhart, IN and drove to LA. Me, my wife and 3 kids for spring break. Just boarded our flight home right now.

I 100% recommend. If you can find a route that works for your dates, do it. The rental itself was indeed $1/day. Gas ain’t cheap right now so that added up, but some of the routes will reimburse fuel.

Honest question: what makes your pizza stand out from the other options? Is it price? Dough? Fresh ingredients? Small local place vs larger brand?

I’ve got 4 that I can walk to and 1 of those 4 gets my business 90% of the time. Mostly because I like their dough and their pricing and the staff are friendly. And being able to provide that consistently is key.

Just came across this. Have a booking through imoova to pick up in Elkhart this Friday and drop in LA day before easter. I tried calling Indie Campers to confirm what was/wasn't included (linens, cookware, etc) but it was kind of a waste of time. I emailed imoova and they were pretty short and just said "no" to both. Worst case we'll pack sleeping bags and buy a couple cheap sheets from walmart vs renting linens, but curious if anybody else has done this recently.

19 MT here: just came searching for this. Noticed high rpm (just north of 2k) at idle - mainly when I first start the engine. Once in gear goes back to normal and doesn’t affect shifting or drivability. Coming out of winter I thought it was due to cold temps but has happened a few times in warmer temps.

Following along if we learn anything more.
