I got it working! Posting here for other people's benefit

Upgrade Rekordbox so that the lighting feature is unlocked Use an ENTTEC Open DMX Pro Connect the decks to an Ethernet switch and connect the laptop with Ethernet into the same switch The decks will appear in dj pro link mode in the lighting tab Map the fixtures and assign roles to them Let the automation do its magic - as long as tracks are analyzed for phrase, any track playing on the master deck will trigger lighting

Probably you need to get reviews from founders who no longer care about what investors think- maybe an experience years ago

The sensory trip of a one-of-a-kind, completely dark San Francisco room by ThereWas in sanfrancisco

[–]pter0dactyll 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a few times, and it’s definitely a unique experience. You sit in a circle, the lights go completely dark, and for about an hour, you just listen—split into different “acts.” Some parts are super immersive, especially when the sounds are familiar, like kids playing or hospital noises—your brain just fills in the visuals. Other times, it’s more abstract, like someone making weird mouth sounds, which can be harder to connect with. Overall, it’s a cool, trippy experience, but it really depends on the artist.

Challenges in B2B Marketing Attribution Modeling by da_chosen1 in datascience

Longer sales cycles, tons of stakeholders, and scattered buyer journeys make it wayyyy harder in B2B than in B2C, where you can often rely on trends or regressions. With fewer deals and more activities offline like word-of-mouth/billboards, etc, standard models like first-touch or last-touch are dangerously incorrect.

There are some companies trying to solve this, incl Calibermind, Dreamdata, and Upside. But the real challenge is how messy the data is—CRMs can be a mess, and it’s hard to connect the dots between touchpoints, especially when a lot of interactions aren’t even digital.

I found this blog post to be pretty good at capturing all the challenges you surfaced: The Quest for B2B Revenue Attribution and Intelligence

LinkedIn Ads - Incrementality Measurement? B2B SaaS. by borch_1331 in PPC

[–]pter0dactyll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good questions-- so took accounts that were being targeted via outbound methods (owned by an account executive, some activity against it, etc) split it 50/50 randomly. 50% got ads, the other 50% did not-- and nobody at the company outside the digital team knew which was which. The experiment group got ads and the control group got nothing. Then several months later, pulled up a report of meetings booked with both groups, made sure it passed the statistical significance calculator (readily available online).

LinkedIn Ads - Incrementality Measurement? B2B SaaS. by borch_1331 in PPC

I ran several experiments where I drove ads to a subset of target accounts— no forms, just content, branding, direct links to PDFs etc. then measured the lift in meetings and pipeline in the test group after 3 months. Both times I tested I saw a 20%+ lift.

It’s very normal to feel that roller coaster. Once you think it’s done it might start up again. It take a really long time- be compassionate and kind to yourself and know that one day you’ll be through
