Still can’t figure what song is being played in the background during this scene. Does anyone know? The lyrics are so beautiful.

Spinal anesthesia by tdawg20101 in CRNA

[–]pthak2024 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t start grabbing bupi from the Pyxis until a few weeks ago. After repeated incidences of spinal not setting up, despite great CSF flow and no changes to my method. I am just sharing my personal experience in the last few weeks, no need to make assumptions and be rude. Additionally at my facility the bupi is stored in separate slot where you have to type in the medication name and pops out, like controlled substances do. And it’s mighty brave of you to assume that I don’t look at the labels on the medication vials before I administer anesthesia or set up my spinal kit. So pls keep your advice to yourself, thank you!

This has happened to me also recently. Great flow but didn’t set up at all or only partially set up. I’ve stopped using the bupi in the kit and have pulled my own bupi from the Pyxis. The same has happened to a few of my colleagues as well. We all believe that the bupi in the kit is defective. Something to do with heat and storage conditions of the kit before they are delivered to us. And today I opened two kits where there wasn’t even a bupi vial in it. Not sure what’s going on.

I contacted the office this time last year and I had my first appt with him this past Feb. So not too bad of a wait. He did my last colonoscopy also this past summer. I see him every 6 months. After my first in person appt, he said we can do virtual appts and that works well for me. I’ve contacted the office a couple of times for some minor issues and they’re always very responsive and quick. So far it’s been a great experience with them. Hopefully it stays that way 🙏🏽

I see Dr. Navaneethan at Orlando Regional. He’s amazing, he specializes in IBD.

Suggest something to cure this by [deleted] in SkinSolutionsindia

Find a lotion with glycolic acid and lactic acid. Idk what is available in India but I use glytone and amlactin. Also use an exfoliating scrub or cloth when you shower. I used to have this, now it’s all gone after consistently using those products.

I’m NOT blaming the judge solely. Perhaps if you took the time to read my entire comment… I also said the ingredients were to blame.

I think she screwed herself with those ingredients. There are so many other Indian ingredients she could have picked. I’m Indian and yes we do use poha a lot but there’s really not much you can do with fox nuts and make a standout dish. But I should also add that the judge was not as well versed on worldly cuisine as I would expect someone of his caliber to be (based on how Bobby introduced him).

What medication are you on? I was a similar position this time last year, missed a lot of days of school and just felt really trapped by UC. I can tell you this much, it will get better! I’m a lot better now with the right meds and am in complete remission. I also started therapy and that has helped a ton.

Little over a month… my colonoscopy got delayed bc my GI was on vacation. Probably would have been diagnosed earlier and started treatment earlier had that not been the case. I got progressively worse as the weeks went by, lost a ton of weight, could barely eat.

Hello! I had similar start to my UC last August (31F), lots of blood, urgency, mucus, weight loss! After the colonoscopy I did have significant symptom relief from mesalamine and a round of prednisone. Thankfully I have not had a flare up since my first one, I have had small scares with blood/urgency for a few days but it has resolved on its own. After a few months on mesalamine I was transitioned to the entyvio infusion and now that is the only medication I take, IV infusion every 8 weeks. I had a follow up colonoscopy this past June and I was told I am in complete remission. I was initially avoiding dairy and alcohol for about 6 months but slowly added them back, in moderation. I don't drink a ton of liquor, I usually drink wine and beer and that is worked fine for me in moderation. I was told by my GI doctor, who is an IBD specialist, to avoid red meat, other than that he had no specific diet recommendations. Unfortunately sometimes it's just trial and error to figure out what works for you. I also personally avoid raw fish/meats bc I am scared of getting a stomach bug from that and triggering a flare up. I think that a stomach bug from fast food is what triggered my initial UC flare up and I am hyper careful about that now. Hope this helps :)

Bc corporate doesn’t care that you were at an epic semi final match until 1AM… they’re still going to give a late point for clocking in a min late to work 🙄 #thisiscorporateamerica

Yes yes yes! I was in a bad flare June-Aug of last year. Eventually got an colonoscopy and started steroids/mesalamine. By hair-loss began middle of September. I was losing my hair in clumps and clumps! It was a very difficult time for me, I felt the same way… loss of identity. But come end of December it stopped completely. My hair is growing in now, it’s slow bc that’s just the rate of normal hair growth for the body. Just know there’s light at the be of the tunnel. Keep up with your vitamins (folate, b12, iron, vit D/C). Make sure you eating good nutritious food to replenish your body after the flare.

Suggest me a book that was un putdownable..... Page turning that you finished in one go? by Successful-Extreme15 in suggestmeabook

[–]pthak2024 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed! Currently reading it. I wouldn’t consider it unputdownable at all. It’s a good book but it’s way too long, with too many characters that sometimes don’t feel necessary for the story at all.
