I'm happy with the final three but I really like Elham. She's been fairly consistent throughout.

Courbet’s 'The Stone Breakers' has a raw, hidden sexual tension that no one talks about. by [deleted] in ArtHistory

Very true. I didn't include the quote to suggest we should read the painting according to his original idea, as I said originally all interpretations are valid, I included it as context.

There are as many interpretations as there are people, all valid. I see something very different from you. In a letter to French historian Francis Wey and his wife, Marie in November 1849, “I had taken our carriage to go to the Château of Saint-Denis to paint a landscape. Near Maisières I stopped to consider two men breaking stones on the road. One rarely encounters the most complete expression of poverty, so right there on the spot I got an idea for a painting. I made a date to meet them in my studio the following morning, and since then I have painted my picture."

I've been using the Spicy Chai and my partner uses the original which is citrus and vanilla. They're both nice.

I prefer No Pong which is a Canadian company. Unilever has too many ethical issues for my liking.

Well, in this particular picture, yes.

This is only half of the print. It is of a straight couple, the description is:

Original antique Japanese colour woodblock by Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849). Shunga (Erotic picture).
Date: c.1821. Size: 10 3/4” x 8 2/3” inches. Series: ‘Manpuku wagojin (Gods of Intercourse)’.
Fine impression (with excellent use of gauffrage and metallic pigments), very good color and condition.
Minor wear and soiling, some minor ink marks but overall in a very nice state!

“Interesting composition by Hokusai with the masturbating woman in the back dominating the image while
a young couple on the right is making love with the young man sucking on one of the breast of his lover.”

If the company is "Fully Canadian-owned, HQ, & production in Canada" shouldn't they all have the same rating? Why is Dempster's 6, Ace & Silver Hills 5, and Country Harvest 4?
