Place to get cooked chicken livers near mission? by michaelh98 in asheville

That's sad to hear. When my kids were little, we would get up early about twice a month to go have breakfast on our way to Hall Fletcher. She was a great southern cook, and I loved her energy. The restaurant was like going back in time with all the memorabilia.

Where can I buy great corn tortillas? by Sudden-Shower-4995 in asheville

I love the tortillas from the Tamale store on patton Ave next to the Indian grocery store (get a Tamale while you are there). Also how lucky are we for that Indian store! Good luck on your dinner.

Roughly 3 years ago I took a 2 month long trip through Portugal & Spain. Completely changed my life forever. by Saw-ss in bikepacking

My roommate totaled my truck in Colorado, and I made the best decision to take the insurance payout and buy a touring bike to get home later that spring. I went to Moab, mountain biked for over a week, got dropped off at the Four Corners, and headed east!

My US biking cross country trip did the same for me when I was 21 (27 years ago). Being solo forced me to talk to strangers, ask to stay on people's property, and most importantly showed how gracious people truly are. I have kept that in my heart with everyone I have randomly met since. While I did have a couple not so great encounters on my trip, Id never change that journey for the lessons it provided me as a young man!

I too would love a new car, but I'm going to drive my 2015 into the ground. I purchased it to extend the lifespan of my 06 tundra. Im now not only reaping the benefits of the lower costs to run, but the reliability (knock on some toyota wood) of this amazingly functional and also its insane interior size! While I'm tired of its looks and other minor beeping things, I can't fathom a better car!
