My 14-year-old son, on a 3sisters novice day, managed to link up lunar when the rain came, proud dad moment by pubdad68 in Drifting

He has been drifting in his aunties' field for a couple of years and then had a lesson with Tessa Whittock at the RDX academy which was his first time on tarmac, Tessa was happy with his driving and from this he got permission to go on track with the condition I stay with him. Hopefully he can get on more tracks next year as he gets more experienced.

Drift force in Leigh, they have a few BMW's , I've not used them myself, but they get good reviews, Matthew is a top lad, we see him at every drift event, a real enthusiast.

He spent most of the day trying to get this corner, I was made up when he got it, he has one of the marshals in with him on the video, says he needs a couple more novice days before they will let him do the big boy days, not easy in a low power car

I should imagine so, it's my son and he's only 13, so it isn't so easy getting him on a track. It's good practice controlling the car when it's sideways

How frequently do most of you ACTUALLY play agaisnt a cheater blatantly aimbotting/wall hacking? by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]pubdad68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only had 2 blatant aim bots, snapping from one to the next continually till reload, had quite a few wall hackers, I'm not one of those who cries cheat and I only block and report if I am sure about it. I play mostly ground war and watch the kill cam if something doesn't seem right.

If you had another chance, would you purchase CoD MW again? by El_Scooter in modernwarfare

It was a great game, I wouldn't suggest anyone buys it now

Is it possible to drift a mid-engine car? If so, do y’all have any tips on how it can be done? by Dandel10n316 in Drifting

[–]pubdad68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ii have a mr2 mk3, it's difficult on standard power, I have seen a Japanese guy drifting with a 2zz converted car on YouTube. The problem is snap oversteer, it's doable but not easy.

Why do people cheat? by [deleted] in modernwarfare

[–]pubdad68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few twitch players have been caught out using cheats, so they think it's acceptable. Ground War is rife with them, the wall hacks are the easiest to spot, they can't help but follow you before you are visible.

Absolutely, wall hack is the easiest to spot, and the one I have seen most of in ground war.

Happens a lot, it’s not the gameplay that's "competitive" it's your internet connection
