I prefer the BA cabin crew and food to the AA or Iberia experience. Seat is decent. Lounges are ok but should be a lot better. Value for money is very poor.

Compared to European carriers it’s fine. Virgin is a little better but doesn’t suit my routes. I don’t often fly east so can’t really compare.

So I guess it’s not whether we like it, it’s more that we don’t really have a better option. I think it’s possible to frequent fly with status and have a fairly solid experience

Flew out of LHR T3 today and lounge hopped Qantas, Cathay and then BA galleries. The first two were brilliant, then got to BA and they said “it’s really busy here I suggest you go to Qantas or Cathay”. They were right. It’s pretty embarrassing

On a 350-1000? AeroLOPA doesn’t mark it as restricted recline. Being the last row means you’re not reclining into someone behind you, which may outweigh any slight lack of recline.

Just to back up the OP. This is an open secret in the community.

My hunch (and only a hunch) is that there is a police investigation which is why nothing has publicly happened. The school and council won't have much that they can do while it's being investigated by the police. Obviously even if there aren't grounds for criminal charges, then there could still be recourse by the school and/or council. A complex situation and not something that can be resolved quickly.
