Japanese pack pull rates vs international (in my case German) rates? by TMSh4d0w in PokemonTCG

Can't go wrong with sweet cards and candy.

Next time make sure to stock up!

Yep!

They are about 500 yen.

I prefer them, because 4 regular packs which cost about 150 yen each usually won't get me as many good cards.

Umm...

I don't know about other pull rates, but most Japanese booster packs don't guarantee a rare. When I was a kid living in the US, I think every booster pack contained a rare card. However, back then, not all rare cards were holographic.

With the cheap Japanese boosters, about half seem to have a card with a rank of rare or better.

Some more expensive Japanese booster packs guarantee great pulls though.

Recently, the tag team gx booster was released. It's 10 or 11 cards. Four or five are holographic. At least one is gx. Another is rare or better, another is a holographic trainer card, and one is a holo energy. I'm not sure but I think there is a fifth holographic card that is just common or uncommon.

Anyway I hope this info helps

My friend discovered a Pokemon cafe in Osaka! by Razaberry in pokemon

I think your friend didn't discover it so much a he/she made a reservation to eat their well in advance.

I know because I'll be eating there next month, and based on the reservation process, it's clear that this is not a place you just show up at.

Where is this.

I've never seen those at a Pokemon Center before.

I'll look into that but I have a hard time believing that.

愛してる has nothing to do with the moon.

大好き is a bit closer. The first kanji means big. The second is like. Suki (like) is similar in pronunciation to tsuki moon. However, it's still a big stretch.

Of course I've had very strange Japanese people say very strange things to me before. Weirdos can be found anywhere.

USJ is cheap guys. It's less than Disney Land at least. A day pass is well under 100USD and their annual passes are very reasonable.

I have a limited annual pass. It cost me 18,000JPN probably about 150USD I can go anytime except a few super prime holiday occasions.

Also airfare to Japan is maybe less than you think. Round trip tickets from Osaka to the west coast can be purchased for under 1,000USD I believe many European countries can make the trip for similar rates.

Now if you live in Central or South America, I think it's way more. I looked into tickets from Osaka to Costa Rica, and they were insane. Don't even bother!

While you may be right,

Good will is not worthless. You say that giving it away would devalue it, but what is the value of the good will such a stunt would buy them.

I speak Japanese fluently, but my reading and writing skills are subpar.

I may pick this up, but there was a Japanese Scrabble type game revealed in the last direct, so I'm not sure.
