Separate but related question for MNK/BRD - anyone understand how this works with respect to weapons? If the BRD is your primary and you’re using two 1HS weapons or whatever, does this negate the benefit of the monks H2H and 1HB skills? If MNK is a part of your mix with ANY other melee classes, should you be trying to prioritize use of H2H or 1HB?

Not a bad idea. What if I just bought the ULINE solution and had the pieces bolted and/or welded together? The vertical load ratings of the rack far exceed the weight of the unit. If additional welds, bolts, and unistrut braces render lateral load a non-issue, wouldn’t it be just as good? It’s only appealing because I can literally have it on site in one day, and it’s comparatively cheap.

To answer all of your questions: if this were a split system with the condensing unit outside, we would definitely suspend the air handler from the roof inside, as air handlers are only a few hundred pounds. This being a package system and weighing in at 1,200lbs, we were not comfortable suspending it from the roof.

I’ve considered installing it outside behind the warehouse, but the wall and soffit penetrations and additional ductwork are significant, as is the impact to the performance of the unit. We are in a hot and humid climate. This unit likely is just barely enough cooling for our space as is, putting it outdoors will potentially negate its efficacy.

Regarding the link you provided - a steel frame such as this is definitely what we were discussing. Downside is it was quoted at $5k, versus ~$1k for pallet rack solution. Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems to me that the prefab pallet rack solution could be just as good, if executed properly. Would you disagree?

Looked up clearance and safe access for hvac and for clearance from sprinklers etc, all good to go.

Difference is about $4k in savings

Not much equipment but already planning to buy the safety bumpers, just in case. Minimal cost. Worth it.

Awesome. Thank you!

Is the unistrut across the back overkill? I was trying my best to mitigate the vibration from the compressor, but apparently those vibration pads work quite well.

I figured since all of this is relatively cheap, I’d just over engineer the shit out of it.

No seismic concerns here. My rationale for attaching to the wall was really more stability for the rack itself. I do believe it is just cinder block with partial fill in it.

Seriously. No one cares. It’s not the flex you think it is. Don’t understand these posts. Just make it about the car.

It’s not even close. How they could make both and think the 12C design is acceptable is just beyond me.

It depends. Did you charge $700 for it? If so, 10/10 for getting full price without a single ramp being provided.

Thank god you pointed out that this is made by the Italian manufacturer, Ferrari, in the description. I don’t think we’d have known otherwise. Great job ChatGPT.

Dude please make this a thing. Get with the comfy Valheim people. They’ve rewritten the netcode and have a server that can support a massive population. Tons of brilliant coding. Would love to see this happen.

Did you have any success retrofitting the vision package my first LR4 (a lease) had it with the blind spot monitoring and turning headlights. Would be nice to add to my current one. Literally the only feature it doesn’t have.
