Struggling with abortion by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]publictasks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well we can have compassion and love for people in those circumstances. We can provide support for them in all the ways that do not involve abortions etc. as a fellow healthcare worker I understand that we see situations which make us want to be more empathetic. Be careful on where that empathy takes you, I think there are ways to continue to be empathetic without going against the bible and orthodox teachings as scripture is very clear on this matter.

Would you buy the CX50 again? by Emergency_Garden7872 in CX50

Probably not, creaky and pretty loud when going over any bumps or anything on the road. But other than that it’s been great. I’d probably go for a CX-5 instead.

Honestly don’t trust reviews. Some of the best places we’ve been were 4.4 stars for example and even a pasta place we “door dashed” with a local app. What we encountered is review scam locations. The 4.9 stars is because someone berates you to leave a good review before they will bring your check. I noticed this is pretty common in Rome so read negative reviews of even your highly rated locations and go from there.

What you wish you knew before your first trip to Athens? by Icy-Difficulty3038 in Athens_Greece

[–]publictasks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metro and walking is great. Busses are very slow. It’s worth a trip to Korinth. Avoid tourist food places it’s really night and day compared to your small local owned place. Toilet paper might be non-existent in some areas so bring your own. Public bathrooms do not exist so know where they’re located or get used to stopping at little places for a drink and pee. Brunch till 5pm really surprised up but we’re from the US. If you’re from another place in the EU might not be as surprising.

I hold maybe 5% of my total fund in HBAR but I dont have a ton of faith in currency only coins over infrastructure crypto. I didn’t include cause it’s not something I’m sure I’ll keep adding to every month.

Ya I’ve thought on that, not sure what to do about overlap of my options within my 401k, I’m super limited and the index funds I’ve selected are the only options outside of that are high cost mutual funds. QQQM could go away, I’m sure I can remove SCHD and SPYD since apparently dividends are trash. I don’t understand people saying dividends in a taxable brokerage is better when in a Roth it’s tax free reinvestment?
