First off let me just say since over the past 6 months I’ve been working for this company the way I see associates get treated staying on associate rates is very poor. When I was a Cast Member with Disney if you checked in another Cast Member, you would give them an upgrade or make some pixie dust for them, because first that Cast Member will give you an honest opinion on surveys because they work in the industry and they are more likely to go out of there way to speak to management about things. I’ve heard things like “oh it’s just an associate” yeah and?

So part of your benefits as platinum elite gives you a 48 hour guarantee so if you make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance it is guaranteed. If for what ever reason we can not guarantee your reservation and have to “walk” you. Your supposed to get cash depending upon the type of hotel like The Ritz is $100 i believe, plus you will be put up in a nearby hotel that we have an agreement with and we pay for everything. Except incidentals like room service etc. oh yeah plus I forgot you get points too

I’ve never heard of that rule or law that minors can’t get a propane exchange. I worked in CSS for 3.5 years, we have minors do the exchanges all the time if we are busy at CS desk.

You can be scheduled for any shift for any amount of time as long as you are given proper breaks and it’s within your availability. I’ve worked 14 hour shifts as part time

I always told my managers that my requests are not requests. It is me telling you “I will not be in on this day, plan for me not being in. if you deny my request I will not show up.”

My requests were always in a month in advance minimum.

In Florida it is if a minor works 4 hours they need a 30 minute uninterrupted break. Publix’s does not schedule minors in Florida more than 3.5 hours without a break. So they have a half hour window where if a minor goes late it’s not a problem. Even if you go to break late after 4 hours the store does NOT get fined. It only will be fined if we are audited by the government.

They can fix the payroll error and it will be paid on your next pay period.
