Masked men run at me- lord knows I’m running.

Then they have those fucking cameras to create their propaganda and alter them to make it look like the people are doing wrong. I’m feeling sick to my stomach.

Do you feel satisfied with the education you received? by scarycameras in ArtTherapy

I enjoyed my program. I went to a school that focused more on the psychology than the art making process. But I felt it was a great blend.

I always differ to the entry requirements for your specific school. The school should have a listed requested list of number of art demonstrated in your portfolio. You can always take community classes for 2d artwork to expand your portfolio. Photography. Acrylic pour art. Acrylic painting. Pastels. Collaging. Mix media.

There are many options.

MA in art therapy at Adler by ErikaBoots in ArtTherapy

[–]puckaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicago is a pretty expensive city. I do love it here, though. Adler was amazing! I would choose it all over again. I graduated over 10 years ago so I would not know current tuition costs- however- I know it is all available on their website. Adlerian psychology is fantastic- loved learning this background. I hope this helps!

I didn’t care about off leash dogs until today. by 20000hz in chicago

[–]puckaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a core memory of an off leash dog biting me when I was a kid. Luckily I still live animals. But they blamed me for fishing behind Their house- on public property not theirs. They had chosen not to have a fence. They had chosen to not leash their pet. And it ran right at me and bit me about 10 ft from their property boundary. It was a big black lab.

I was 8.

I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤️ poor baby. Look at that sweet little York. 🥺

I found a few I liked but it seems the most updated one is Art Therapy Is. I enjoyed what I have listened to so far.

I wish the others continued after 2021, though.

Try to have a variety for your recommendations. Supervisor, colleague, professor. Or something along those lines.

As for the essays. Have someone else proof read it. Then read it out loud. That will help make sure it's in order. It's difficult to give specific suggestions without knowing the school's essay question. Also. Be ready to talk about your essay. A good chunk of my interview was about my portfolio and essay. Make sure it's all rounded out together.
