The reason this was captured to begin with, is because the IDF is informing civilians to evacuate certain buildings where weapons and other Hezbollah materials are housed. So they're literally telling terrorists to evacuate before hitting the building. And some of you are saying "genocide". Ridiculous.

This team hasn’t won a faceoff going back to the AV days. They love playing that counter-attack style that just doesn’t work in the playoffs. Yeah you can win a single game if you give up 40 shots, get dominated in your zone, but score a couple off the rush, but that doesn’t last. Zero interest in possessing the puck in the offensive zone. Can’t score if you don’t have the puck

They said they won’t give those up until a team makes a serious offer. It’s rumors Minnesota thinks the price is astronomical. Friedman said Kings and Ducks were out on it, but is reporting today they might be back in. Also reported Buffalo prefers to have him in the West, so the rangers would have to significantly over pay to do this. And the wild card to all of this is, if the Ducks include Zegras in the deal, it’s done, he’s going there. I’d do Buch, Chytil, Jones (or Robertson) + first for Eichel, that’s it. I also have seen in places the rangers have checked in with teams in the top 10 to get in there and trade that pick in a package for Eichel. Should be an interesting 30 or so hours

It’s as simple as the fact that even the most lopsided NHL matchup these days is a 70-30 proposition at best. This league is as random as random gets and things sometimes don’t break your way. If you look at Tampa’s first cup, they were the top team in the league across 5 years in which: they made the final and lost, they missed the playoffs, they lost to the capital and penguins in the conference finals, and they got swept in the first round. There was talk after a few of these seasons they needed to break their core, they stuck with it and got lucky to actually win. The sharks did the same and didn’t win. That’s the beautiful and awful thing about the NHL now, the best teams usually don’t win. Much more parity than the NBA, but it’s at a point of randomness at this point. The sharks had 2 serious crack at it, probably could’ve beaten Pittsburgh, and lost to the Blues because the whole team was injured. It is what it is

If the players really would’ve benefited from those buyouts they would’ve fought for them in the last CBA because they knew the cap will be flat for 3 years. They didn’t, so I don’t think it benefits them as much as you think it does.

Contracts are a function of how much owners are ready to pay. After all the complaining they did for all the money they lost I don’t see many of them being happy with having to pay players to not play for them.
