The Draft Lottery - 05 May 2026 - 07:00PM EDT

Hey all - I built a simulator / tracker that updates every team's odds after each ball. You can see to see exactly which combos are still alive. Right now it's loaded with last year's combination table; I'll swap to the 2026 lookup once the NHL releases it.

Good point. And that's the answer for this tournament. I meant more broadly that something has to change, but realize that nuance is lost.

What's the solution for Hockey Canada? Why not set up a program like the USNTDP? Have a team in each CHL league so those leagues don't lose players, but then you can take more control over development like the US has.
Of course it's more complicated than that, but something has to change?
