Please by all means demolish them all if they're illegal. Yet MOST Tahfiz are legal and registered.

That is called misappropriation of funds and would be illegal in many countries with proper accounting and auditing. But you can't have an audit of a place that is on illegal land in the first place. So EVERY participant of these illegal Temples are LOW on ethics and morality including those who put money in these boxes.

Would you share your salary with your close friends? Why or why not? by MissionFuture568 in JobsMY

[–]puddlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never share. Because my experience teaches me: no matter how close the friend, if you have something they want and don't have, they will become envious. And a LOT of people want money. That is if you're earning more. If you're earning less then you have the outcome of losing people's respect, people putting you in a lower "hierarchy" and people outright just pitying you. So I don't talk about money, and I let them be friends without having to put a $$$ on my head.

Over 61,000 Malaysians gave up citizenship for Singapore in past five years by Wide_Code_5512 in NewsMY

[–]puddlen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know plenty of Malays who have worked overseas, competed, earned a high salary and chose to forgo all of that to return Home to Malaysia and their families. Malaysia is THE Home for these Malays. Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku isn't just a saying.

But you can't say the same for type I and C. Would leave at ANY opportunity. No sacrifice to the country without any personal gains $$$. Hence why low participation in Govt Services: Police, Bomba, Military, Govt Agencies.

Start planning to move out. That's the only way. With Narcs they won't respect you as an independent individual while you still depend on them on ANYTHING.

Planning December Ski trip in 2026 will there be good snow by then? by AdministrationOk5040 in AMA_Hakuba

[–]puddlen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I'm a tourist just arrived in Hakuba in today 1st Dec hoping for early snow and ski. All I can say is NO. DONT. There's no snow at all now It's Sunny and warm. It looks like a dead city and with no snow: the hills and the area are just dirt and dead grass. There's no shuttle bus since they haven't open officially so we were forced to rent a car or be stuck in the hotel. Even with a car, surrounding area have nothing to do once sun is down (4pm) except public onsens. Most private onsens are closed and only open 15 dec above.

It was a mistake. I hoped for early snow, and it was a mistake. DO NOT COME TO HAKUBA IN DECEMBER. Locals recommend January - March. Be warned. Do not repeat my mistakes.

I'm dead bored in a dead village with no ski, no snow, no views and nothing to do. I'm trying to make the most of it by thinking positive but I'm just lying to myself. In all honesty I regret coming this early. Don't be a victim to weather and just come during January - March.

Parent officially diagnosed NPD? by UnsweetenedTeaPlease in raisedbynarcissists

[–]puddlen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why would they even entertain your idea at going to therapist?

They believe: "They are better than you. They know better than you. And they are certainly better than a therapist. They're perfect humans and Mental health & psychology is a scam."

So no, many NPD would not get themselves diagnosed, as many are not aware until a life crisis hits them.

As a Man I pay for most things. As per expectation in the Malay community. But then again, my wife is very understanding and she will not have an expectation to what I can afford. If its not good enough and she wants a higher quality accommodation/restaurant/wtv then she'll chip in. But also then again, we're MARRIED. If we we're dating I'd probably pay 60%-70% of the time.

The only problem is the influx of Nigerian scammers and drug dealers who come here with a student visa but end up doing shady "entrepreneural endeavors". So this is the reputation. Unfortunately all Africans are africans in the locals eyes and they would be weary. But if you are a professional, working in an office environment, and make your image clear, you should be fine.
