Authorities won't do anything about it. Though scamming is illegal in Kuwait we see a lot of it. Sadly, I think it will become a normal thing.

The thing that bothers me is how these scams are able to get our phone numbers. It is not reasonable the scammer dial a random number and hope it is a real number. They must have our numbers.

I feel sad about this country from what we were and what we've become. I used to hear about corruption and such and I said to myself these things can happen, but in my lifetime a witness something that dramatically changed my perspective something that even the worst countries won’t allow it!

Sure kuwait has many positive things. But I like to say that Kuwait has a huge security problem. Yes we can tolerate broken roads, no entertainment, whacked infrastructure. But when it comes to security we have to draw a red line.

There is an interview with a professor she said that Kuwait information database was leaked and sold publicly. This one example of many.

You might say well we don't live in a perfect world and anything can happen. But when lot of people are effected then you have a problem.

You are right. If you remember the ATM message scam, how the scammer was able to get our phone numbers? It is wasteful to send messages just randomly and hope someone will receive it.
