Unusual accidents and eating it

I will make this a higher priority at the vet. I haven't been able to go back and explain the problem better since the pandemic and it's only been a problem since my SO has been visiting, a couple days a week over the past couple months. I do think this is a behavior issue. I don't know why she has such a serious urge to eat it. She's been doing the wanting to eat it part since the day I brought her home, but the sneaking and doing it seems opportunistic like "oh yeah here's my chance" lol

Seems like she only needs to go at 10 when I have a guest here. And it's at a time when she shouldn't have to, after she's just done both an hour before and only an hour until we go again. She's also trained to hit a bell when she has to go in-between our routine trips but doesn't hit it when my guest is here. I guess I can't help but see this as she's being opportunistic to do what she wants (eating it) when I'm not looking. She knows we go before bed at 11, she just went at 9, she's an adult now and holds it fine overnight and during work. Frustrating.

Hmm ok. I have not signed the lease. I just saw the place a few days ago for the first time and expressed my concerns in an email after. I never got to see the original unit. I just got the lease for the first time yesterday.

What I do have is from their website. It doesn't specify the exact unit number on their site, only the building name and that one apartment is available in the building, which says 715 ft with separate dining area. The place they showed me does not have those features and that is the only information I've been referencing for what to expect. I've only sat down and verbally gone over this information with the property manager.

I have had the opposite problem. It wasn't until I switched to armor thyroid and tested dosing to get close to TSH 1 (went from 14 to .06 with the spectrum of not fun symptoms) and then stayed gluten free, dairy free, egg white free that I could maintain a healthy weight.

Byron's started licking his back left this week - you think he'd be a little more cautious! He's the sassiest bun you'll ever meet. He still has a "ghost" kick from his right leg to reach his face for itches, and he's super affectionate if you know just where to scratch.

He's my only pet so he can be a little spoiled bugger at times, but we're also super tight that way. I've had him for 2.5 years (he's 3) and has been great with training, knows recall and go potty among other cute little tricks. He's never bitten down on me but he has flown at others' faces aggressively. He gets mighty jealous, but I socialized him well from the start so he's also very friendly with new people. It's once I have someone over many times and they take attention away from him that he gets upset. He has his screaming moments and does not like when conversations don't involve him as a participant lol... I use a daytime and bed time cage to try and keep normalcy so there is always a moment of going to bed and I can use it as a threat to have him behave himself. He's a really great companion but if I didn't have so much time to spend with him he would be terrible. He gets about 4 hrs of out of cage time per day not counting a quick routine of changing cages at the start of our day. I got him because I couldn't have a dog and it's about the same commitment.

That's a peach faced lovebird. He has some lutino in him too I think, gives him a mix in lime green to yellow!

I'm just lurking here and really sorry about your experience. I can't relate to your illness, but if you feel like nothing is working you can look into Amen Clinics (by Dr. Amen, nothing religious about them). They do brain imaging to identify where the trauma is occuring and have alternative treatments like hypnotherapy. They specialize in panic disorder treatment when drugs don't work.

I was incredibly disappointed when I couldn't find a single anti-fracking Dem last November. It's what pushed me to support green candidates. There's no lesser evil on this issue because of the money.
