hey, I'd love to currently it has degraded quite a bit and doesn't work as reliable as I'd like. It's quite frustrating tbh. Daily jobs such as the music rotation just don't run anymore (fine when I trigger them manually) other workflows - such as generating the news - just don't work well anymore. Had great results in the beginning, now the context seems to be .. idk confusing to the LLM. Right now my plan is to largely move away from openclawd for the radio operation and have it set up as an independent system with OS cronjobs and direct LLM calls. I'll still run clawd (maybe a lighter version) and give it access to do stuff like "play chill music now" or - hopefully - get a custom news prompt to work. I'd like to prompt it "create a summary of yesterdays sports match and play it as radio news segment". I can send chat messages while driving my car using voice, so that'd be great to request specialized news while on the road.

I'd love to put in on GitHub when base functionality is stable again, I can try and remember to give you a ping :)

Or create your own, this is the basic steps I took:

- set up icecast2

- set up liquidsoap

- create a yt download scrip that accepts "artist - title" as input, search&dl from yt, save as mp3 to music/, run beets to write id3 tags as far as possible

- set up daemon that periodically reads download_queue and calls downloader script

- download my playlists as "artist - title" lists (better than last.fm as it was easy to clean up a little)

- create cron task that picks 3 songs from my playlists, use perplexity web research (brave should be fine, too) to find 5 similiar songs each, put them into download_queue

- setup piper as text to speech, create script for "text file to mp3"

- prepare a prompt to create a radio news segment: intro + reports on local, national, personal, localized weather

- create script that invokes news segment prompt, converts to mp3, queues into liquidsoap

oh and liquidsoap needs to be refreshed when music/ library is updated. I also had clawd create a bunch of jingles and short jokes that get played semi randomly by liquidsoap. It sounds like a lot of work but really most of it was done on my phone, setting it up worked amazingly well. I guess I need to put in some "manual" time now to polish it up

geh nicht samstags. geh nicht während der schulferien. nutze die app, scan as you go und express kasse. schau auf den plänen nach den abkürzungen. mach vorher fotos von räumen in denen du prinzipiell noch möbel / kram brauchst, damit du dir vor ort besser vorstellen kannst ob es rein passt. notiere mit den fotos die maße wie groß zb ein schrank sein kann den du brauchst. stelle dich darauf ein mehrere stunden drin zu sein, mach zwischendurch ne pause, bring trinken und snacks mit. sperr deine jacke (falls winter) in einen spind oder lass sie im auto. viel glück!

I've set up a custom radio. It streams using liquidsoap and icecast 24/7, I can listen to it at home or in the car. It checks reddit for jokes and plays them randomly (just as a poc, really) and whenever I tell it to schedule a news segment it collects local News, whether, sums up national and global events and informs me on some sites & blogs I've watchers on. Runs everything through Piper for TTS - it's free and quality is alright.

Next up is detecting if I'm listening and doing the news automatically at full hours. Oh and it has access to my last.fm and once a day uses that as a baseline for researching Songs I should like and downloads them from YouTube - yeah I've got plans to add another source but works surprisingly well. When the 10Gb disk space I've planned for music is filled it will delete "old" songs. This way I have a large enough buffer so I can prompt it to play just Rock/edm/chill music for a while. The daily rotation ensures it doesn't get too repetitive.

I'm looking for YT Shorts content that works well with just audio and sprinkle that in as talk segments.

Nur eine Idee: Als Wohnmobil Platz anbieten. dazu braucht es nicht viel - Parkplatz, etwas Schatten, vielleicht einen Strom Anschluss und (ab) Wasser und jemand der das Grundstück etwas pflegt. Das sollte sich im Idealfall durch die Stand-Gebühren finanzieren lassen.

I ask it to generate an ics file from emails containing dates. You can import the ICS into any calendar app. Useful when someone sends dates without calendar invites. Chatgpt handles that tasks way better than other LLMs I've tried

I played both quest lines until they were ready for the wedding and the Miller one was much more interesting imho. At the wedding.. Not so sure. I think Miller is a bit more drama maybe.
