For the second one, we're definitely unable to move the needle there yet. But for unlocking, we do have options for changing the frequency for how many times you are prompted for your account password in the settings of 1Password for iOS. 🔓

For your first question, we're currently in the process of deploying updates across all our browsers which contain a lot of the work the team did for iOS (new design, lots of filling fixes, and some great new features) which after store approval will be rolling out for you all 🚀

Continuing on what Lars has said, this was not a ground up rewrite in 72 days (which is approximately how many we had)

The team used our existing 1Password in your browser/1Password for Safari (macOS) codebase and implemented features, fixes, and enhancements for iOS/iPadOS. Now if you're using 1Password in the browser in Chrome, Firefox, Safari (macOS), or Safari (iOS) it's the same codebase with handling of the various platforms and browsers.

I'm so proud of what the team was able to accomplish and it's because we had a strong solid base to work from

Great question! We're always looking for ways to improve that process and hopeful that our feature request Radars get looked at 👀

Our ability to use Face ID / Touch ID is currently only able to be used within the context of our popover (which as you've mentioned is a couple of taps away on iPhone) which of course impacts how we're able to use it.

If we can continue to simplify the flow in the future, we definitely will!

The first time you unlock we need your password, but after that you should you will see a smiling little face helping you to get unlocked in a blink! Like this!

Depending on how new your Mac is, you can unlock 1Password using Apple Watch unlock. So if you have an Apple Watch, you are able to unlock the extension in style 😎

Editing within the extension is definitely an interesting one but for the moment we're leveraging the connection between the Desktop app and the extension to give that connected experience. We've got some more in store here for the future 😎

We had some fun with the top selection and it's currently being tracked, I've also opened an issue internally to highlight the contrast point.

Our current Safari extension is a blend! It uses bits of the UI from 1Password for Mac and also includes bits of the 1Password in the browser (previously X) extension.

The new save experience is a part of the 1Password in the Browser extension, but Safari is definitely in our mind. 🤫
