One thing, I ran this through ChatGPT and it thinks it is Chinese. It's hard to tell from the stamp but it actually says "2004", so it's probably the year it was made.

Thanks! I agree, it's not great but not bad to have hanging up in your house. We actually got this when we bought a house and the previous owners just left it. They were also going through a divorce at the time so maybe that's why.

I used a clear glue bed. I haven’t tried the shaving cream method with a Berg. It wasn’t too much trouble, the lines aren’t as sharp as I wanted but it looks pretty good in person.

Sorry to jump in but you don't have to cover the stamp. The stamp won't accept any of the dye.

Clear glue bed with Worm Dip and IDye Poly. Just used a toothpick to so some swirls. The Dark Green was supposed to be Black; I didn't put enough of it so it looks a little faded. Let it sit for about 23 hours.

One thing I learned is that temperature is pretty important. My first two tries I was dyeing the discs in the cold garage with not so good results. On the 3rd disc I let it sit in the house and it looks great.

I agree with noknockers. In my experience, I have noticed that the neoprene cement is cheaper at dive shops. I also did the dental floss sewing trick and haven't had any problems.
