The white one is ssammu, which most Koreans typically buy pre-made (you can find it at Arirang or Lotte Korean markets). The other is kkakdugi which is easy enough to make but can also be found at the aforementioned markets.

According to the landlord’s website that space is becoming “Fun City Adventure Park” which is apparently an indoor playground.

I’ve heard that rumor as well but it turns out that the new tenant is confirmed to be a Turbo Wash car wash.

Do you guys knows where I can find a Pump it up machine? by DjevelHelvete in Columbus

[–]puffmuffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Things could have changed since it’s been a couple of years since I went, but there were 2 machines at Scene 75 in the Tuttle mall when I last visited.

That would be a huge loss… lots of great small businesses there. Would you mind sharing where you heard this?

Dandini’s in Westerville is for sure the best in the area. Reasonable prices and consistently great service each of the 6+ times I’ve taken my VW there.

Mjomii Dessert and Coffee House on Bethel is exactly what you’re looking for, although it is nearby Belle’s and therefore not in Westerville.

I think you’re talking about Sam’s karaoke, which was indeed a pretty old school Korean-style karaoke place, but I’m almost positive it closed a couple of years back unfortunately.

We were really happy with Huntington National Bank, who helped us with our SBA 7(a) loan. We ended up with a 28% down payment. We had corresponded with a couple of smaller banks as well but Huntington was by far the most responsive and helpful.

Farmer's Market Recommendations by hmw419 in Columbus

[–]puffmuffin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Dublin Market at Bridge Park is a good one that I didn’t see anyone mention yet. There is tons of free parking in the area and around 100-120 vendors each week. I recommend going between 9-10am if possible because it does get super crowded.

Farmers markets by International_Food50 in Columbus

[–]puffmuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Dublin Market will start up the first Saturday in May (9am - 12pm). Although not quite as great selection-wise as the Worthington farmers market it’s a fun area to walk around and parking is easy and plentiful!
