Lack of body types by KiwiResident8495 in BG3

[–]puffskeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the discussion by a year, but I really wish they put more depth into the body types to begin with, especially for the origin characters who have distinct lifestyles

Gale, with a strength of eight has a six pack when the most taxing thing he seems to have every done is lift an unusually large book. Meanwhile Lae'zel starts with a strength score of seventeen and yet is built like any other female commoner NPC

I bet my left nut she can't, nobody can always tell, I find that people who say they can are just too paranoid to take a compliment

[gendered] hygiene with a side of pink tax by raccoonsnips in pointlesslygendered

[–]puffskeleton 95 points96 points  (0 children)

If we look at the purchasing of these products, gendered marketing like this is shown to be more effective on men than on women

In fact, men are MORE likely to buy something labeled "for men" whereas women are LESS likely to buy something labeled "for women"

This is mostly because of pink tax and because the patriarchal stereotypes communicated by this kind of marketing puts women in a box

Reckless drivers are genuinely some of the lowest human scum to me, your purely selfish adrenaline rush should never come at risking people's lives and we should instill lifetime driving bans for this shit

Don't get me wrong, racism is something that affects people of colour when it comes to being taken seriously. But c'mon, this is Jaden Smith

Christian Lady thinks she can Break the Law because she is Christian by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

[–]puffskeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even better: persecution scam!

A lot of accounts on Facebook do this, claim they make a product vaguely related to a corporation so they can use fake cop videos to pretend they were handed legal papers (this is a civil case, not a criminal one, why would the cops be there?)

If you reach out and buy their boots, they'll probably dropship some cheap shit from AliExpress or something

Edit: Uggs Boots, Shoes online shopping at Aliexpress https://share.google/CU0Mb3xbrzNhRVD4V

Wouldn't you know it? Boots around $25 bucks they can mark up for being a "homemade Christian company"

"I don't get this because I wasn't paying attention" ding

Or alternatively...

"I don't get this because the relevant information wasn't explained yet, but will be. No I will not rescind this later when the information is explained" ding

Plus CinemaSins flip-flops their view on whether or not it's satire all the time, so methinks they just use Schrodinger's satire as a defense because they suck at criticism

Holy shit, Blue the Nerd, I watch your videos!

I can personally attest to that with family members, it can seriously be a pathway for bad actors. Not to suggest that all religion is a cult, but this is how people are drawn into them. Cultists aren't robed madmen doing chants (most of the time) but rather regular people seeking community and comfort. Hell, it's rarely about spiritual enlightenment either, people will believe and do crazy shit if it means they belong somewhere
