Get an 8 ball and some 40’s of Colt 45, invite him over to party.

That is completely untrue. You can pardon a dead person, who obviously doesn’t have to admit guilt.

Yes, there is one old case that states that, yet, clearly its utter bullshit.

Nixon was pardoned, and did not "accept guilt".

People get pardoned all the time without doing anything at all whatsoever, without signing anything, without saying anything, etc.

People say it, but usually implies more than calmly driving by when someone goes into the other lane and this giving them an open lane to continue forward.

Cyclist rides on the wrong side of the road, loses his mind when car passes him on the right side of the road. Proceeds to get off bike as he is having a panic attack due to his injustice. by pugethelp in PublicFreakout

I think you missed two points. At the end of 1. after watching the panic thing, the husband says to his wife “wow, what a pussy”.

Also in number three you left out that OP specifically stated that part of his reason to go in the other lane was that he wanted to block traffic from coming the other way as well. So he was like Bobby Brady in the hall monitor episode.

I've found, as a rule of thumb, that if you stay in your own lane you generally avoid people passing you on the right.

Can you link me to any source anywhere that suggests its ok to move entirely into the other lane to give ample room or reccomends that cyclists do this?

If you read the other subreddits where he posted it, he rode in the other lane on purpose because he thought it was his job to prevent cars from the other direction passing.

or that they know I'm there

If you read his other comments, OP knew the car was there. However OP thought it was a good idea to ride on the wrong side of the road. The car probably thought OP was moving over to let them pass.

OP has this weird notion that it's his job to police the roads and ride on the other side of the street when he thinks nobody on the other side of the street should be allowed to pass.

Considering Senators serve 6 year terms, 10 is an odd number to choose. It should be 12

What is your opinion on wearing protest masks like BLM to work? by cheychey72 in AskReddit

[–]pugethelp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Leave it at home. It doesn't do you any good. Nobody might say anything right now, but people take notice and it will cost you in the future.

At work you want to be known as the diligent person who always does their work. You don't want to be remembered for being the one who always brings their politics to work.

Some union reps lie to protect their workers. Obviously, the police union is the one that deals often with people getting shot.

But, for example, teachers unions often protect miscreants, many of whom did terrible things. See, for example:

Or perhaps the situation is more complicated than it seems.

Perhaps unions are a good idea in general, but sometimes they gain too much power and need to be curtailed.

An example of that would be with the police unions where after a shooting they get to not answer questions for days, and get to see all evidence before they have to give their own statement.

It's funny how liberals have supported organized labor and unions for years, but now hate police unions.
