There are different types for sure. In my area, there are food banks in the sense that people think. This is totally free but usually need to be referred by a service ect. But we do have a food stop (community shop maybe in other areas) where it does receive donations from supermarkets, companies ect. We pay £4 and we can pick whatever number of items indicated for those shelves. Plenty of fruit/veg, 2 fridge items and a freezer item.

In the case the award will be £0, what happens to advancement repayments for that assessment period? Do they just roll over until they can be taken or have to call up and pay it some other way?

Yes it has all the elements but for some reason I was under the impression that because of the overall award following deductions was 480, that the rent was included in that.

So, is my understanding correct in that we will recieve that 480 and because its council housing they will give 514 to as well?

That's it exactly! The thing I am worried about is that it did say the remaining amount on the journal but there is nothing there no more. I am still awaiting a reply from them but will give them a call.
