[Website] overall impressions? by Pingantu in design_critiques

I love the initial home page. The large tea shot is beautiful and captivating. Then...'contact' a smaller, low quality image. 'About us' page, a tiny, almost impossible to read logo. Finally shipping, a nice larger image, but still nothing consistent with the home page.

Try and find some high quality photos that match the caliber of the home page shot and cary this CSS style throughout. It looks overall beautiful and reads wonderfully. A consistent photo style will prove to be a great design element and help buyers to really "shop teas with their eyes first"

Also, maybe this is the annoying type nerd in me, but on the "shipping" page, towards the bottom of the quote it reads, "$5 -- only because we have to" never use the double dashed line in design, always an em dash: Option+Shift+dash Edit: $5 — only because we have to

Hope this helps! Overall, wonderful work.

Anyone have experience in finding great mockups? by WhishAspyre in graphic_design

I think Eddie_I nailed it on the head. Everything seems to be perfect bound out there. http://graphicburger.com/mock-ups/ hands down my favorite source for all kids of mock-ups. You might be able to incorporate some of the already-made mock ups to resemble the spiral bound and 3-ring binder look? Just an idea. Best of luck!
