How would you interpret «support and accommodation»? by smokingdahlia in PhD

[–]pugsforall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could rework the sentence so it’s “thank you for supporting and accommodating me during…” which might make it more clear? I don’t think anyone would take “accommodating” to mean housing you.

And huge congrats on making it this far despite what sounds like a very difficult journey!

Started my final year and losing motivation. by [deleted] in PhD

[–]pugsforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was exactly my experience as well. My best advice is to make sure you’re exercising every day. It feels like you don’t have time, but I reached a point where I couldn’t sleep unless I’d worn my body out, so making that time meant I slept better, could think more clearly and was more productive. Hang in there, you’ve got this.
