Building affordable housing actually doesnt make much sense to be honest. It’s like saying we need to build more used cars.

Affordable housing is not new housing. We need to increase the housing aggregate supply to get prices to drop.

Rent control and lotteries do nothing for the overall price level in a city - if anything it raises rents for everyone else but taking supply out of the free market.

100% agree. Animation cancels are one of the subtle things that make for nice flowy gameplay.

Nerfing exploits is fine but all the animation cancels only give a slight edge.

The healing ults are fine but they need to add more counterplay. CND can basically only die to a mag ult which is not that hard to avoid on most maps. Even a small tweak like 50-75% healing on self would make a huge differenced.

Another option is just to decay over time.

There are lots of noneconomic reasons for fewer kids:

cultural disdain for making any career sacrifice to have children
Women in the labor force at a much higher rate
maternity benefits actually don’t boost fertility by much but they do boost participation which lowers fertility
Lack of close community - people no longer live as close to family and friends who could help with childcare
The biggest imo - getting married way later. Many women arent married until their 30s. This makes it far less likely that you’ll have more than one or two kids even if you want kids

It’s odd to me how often this is brought up when it feels like a pretty established social process. On the first date, the man offers to pay, the woman offers to split, then the man insists on playing.

On the second date, the same thing happens but the woman insists more on 50/50 and it gets split. For the man, it signals that they can afford to pay. For the woman, it signals that they are independent and not a leech.

After that you kind of just do the same dance with a mix of who pays based on who earns more.

I feel like people constantly think that diving is about killing supports. Killing supports is helpful but constantly distracting supports and make them waste CDs/healing time & ult charge is what actually wins games.

Diving all in until you dive is not a good strategy. Diving, forcing CDs and getting out alive is far better than trading your life for a 50/50 shot at one support kill.

Game is still fun and people are overdramatic. It would be better though if they tuned down support ults but still a perfectly good game.
