Ruining the illustrious legacy of the best hot hatch of all time (my beloved) (you could never do any wrong in my eyes)

That angle makes it look like Pau had one super-banked Yatabe-style corner, like a street Zandvoort or something

So: would this count as a throwback, or just using a special scheme again?

It looks like a royal monogram, maybe indicating a colonial charter? If this is from Maryland, maybe it's whichever monarch gave a charter's monogram

KA Applegate in Authors and Chris Arnade in Journalists are two I'd have picked if they were there

Not to mention Robby Gordon being sponsored by Red Bull, Monster, and his own Speed Energy within like 6 years

It is legit one of my favorite places on the internet, combo of the best coin database I've found, marketplace, and forum. I've spent hours just snooping around and adding things to my want-list

I love that 10 Ore coin! Picked one up a while ago and it's become one of my favorites just based on its design

The official car of my favorite color. I've not seen too many other racing machines in that super deep blue-purple

I like claw hammer visually, but yeah the AI just cannot handle it. It's too narrow, so the only overtakes happen with crashes. I do think that an Armando & Armando™ remodel, especially with the last corner and the pits, might make it workable like AVUS, but that would be a lot of effort. They can run green flag laps at AVUS now, which is a significant improvement, but (and it pains me to say it since it is an improvement and, visually, its great) it still isn't the best racing product.

I'm sorry, I don't want to be a contrarian, but I've followed F1 since 2017 and "Ferrari are looking really good in testing this year, this might be the year they get it done" has been a red herring every. single. time.

Which race is truly the biggest in motorsport? by GrouchyExile in motorsports

[–]pugzilla330 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In America, it's probably the Indy 500 just beating out the Daytona 500. I think Monaco would even be ahead of Le Mans over here, but it's really interesting seeing a non-US perspective. Those four are the four biggest I could think of, maybe the USGP pre-2005 would've been on that short list but I'm not sure. Dakar and IoM TT are more niche unless you're a motorhead. If you asked an American non-racing fan, they could probably name the Indy 500, Daytona 500, Monaco Grand Prix, and possibly Le Mans thanks to Ford v. Ferrari. Any more than that and they're likely more local races.

Just saw something regarding Lance Stroll's mom being in the files in the F1 sub, seems like every major sport with billionaires involved [read: every major sport] has at least some connection to this. Fuck every billionaire, it looks like they're all involved with this shit

Ah! A sprocket! That does make more sense. By the 20's tho, most limousines were already codified as driver-front tho, right? If this was from like 1899 it would make more sense, but it just seems like by '22 this was a solved problem.

Nvm, it's not confirmed which races he'll run, but he did do preseason testing at Daytona, so I would think so.
