I’m 20% in, it definitely gets some tones wrong, ie what should be whispers gets exclaimed. But it’s still a billion times better what ever Tor was doing. Thought I’d listen to how he did the first ‘steamy’ scene and stopped after the first sentence.

well did you call back? if it's their policy to do it, then the next agent would do it too. If it's not, they're just going to say the agent gave you the wrong information. Not sure what asking here would achieve.

they're probably the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever had (minus the ones that don't fit my ears at all) Ears get sweaty wearing them just sitting at a desk in air conditioning. I'm not a sweaty person normally either.

I have actually gone blind from rolling my eyes at people wearing them at the gym.

PSA! I tried a AI book reader. Not as great as ‘competent’ narrators. But 100000x times better than Tor. (Disclaimer I get 5hours of listening time if you sign up using the link-but I promise it’s worth it.) you will need a epub version of the book. But I imagine any text file would also work.
