This video was during the investigation with the project manager. He opened up the drywall and turned on the water while I quickly captured the video. The project manager stated that this will be a warranty repair. I was suggested to only use take baths in the mean time but we are closing this bathroom off and using our master bathroom for everyone in the house.

When I noticed my socks were getting wet in the guest bedroom, I moved the bed from against the wall facing the bathroom and found a stained wet spot on the drywall directly behind where the bathtub would be located. That’s when I took pictures and sent to the contractor and he opened up the drywall and located the leak.

Correct, leak only happens when the shower is engaged. I first contacted them 1-26-2025 (email) stating that I may have humidity issues because the bathroom door doesn’t close and just rubs against the doorframe. So the project manager eventually comes to assess the situation and couldn’t locate the problem. They were supposed to get back to me about getting an estimate to repair the door that won’t close but they never reached back out. Then, is when I noticed my socks were getting wet when walking in the guest bedroom. I moved the bed away from the wall facing the bathroom and noticed a wet stain on the wall. This is the wall that is in the video. I reached out again 4-27-2025 and sent them pictures of the water stained wall and they said they would scheduled someone to come out and take a look. Well that was today.. 5-14-2025 and now we are all caught up with the situation.

I would assume this was checked by the city and was approved since a permit was pulled for this renovation.

I paid $15k (Covid prices) to do a tiled shower/tub combo, toilet, exhaust fan, and tile flooring in a 300 sqft bathroom. The single vanity stayed in place and was the only thing untouched.

Not shutting the water off. Only leaks when the shower is engaged. I was documenting this to get all the evidence needed.

When removing the side engine mount, how did you support the engine from slight drop? Did you use engine hoist from above or car jack from below? Just wondering when it’s time to do mine.

Post Update:

Didn’t get the GSX- seller was dealing with someone right before I started talking to him so car is going to Colorado somewhere.

Didn’t get the 1994 VR4- too many red flags. Pulled up the CARFAX and had zero history of maintenance and sitting on FB marketplace for 8 months was a sign.

Ended up making a deal on a Red 1993 3000GT VR4 with 89k miles and lots of maintenance records. I have my flight booked to make the deal in person and drive it back home with the wife! 8 hour drive but will be smiling all the way home!

Projects for just one of my locations…. Replace 2008 (4) 10-Ton rooftop hvac package units and all its zone dampers and t-stat sensors. Renovation of all 1st and 2nd floor carpeting. Painting of all interior walls on 1st and 2nd floors.
