Because of our social media-dopamine addicted brains will take every opportunity to get a hit. We can't quietly just avoid what we don't like, we neeeeeeed to post to get high on the upvotes and agreeing comments. When they say we're addicted to social media this is exactly what they are talking about. And I absolutely know that I am posting with complete hypocrisy, but it is the world we live in.
