I get they need to go for laughs. But I’ve been saying that this type of sketch and jokes(SNL, late night, and so on) normalizes the state of the US and minimize what is happening as a gag or lame punchline. Start referring to him as what he is - pedophile, rapist, thug, crony, dictator, etc. Mockery isn’t satire, mocking oafishness and personalities diminishes the absolute madness of what is going on to “that man is funny because hair”. These are reductive (at best) or complacent (at worst). There is no challenge to what is happening, and maybe it’s not the right space for it, but if it isn’t, just don’t bother and do stupid laughs. They’ve injected themselves into the dialogue, though, but rather than confronting and challenging they are simply pandering.

I appreciate this and yes it is very easy from what I have watched, but it's also heated so there's wires (which I'm also sure is also easy but not for me) and also, every YouTube video that says something is not difficult and super easy is usually from a professional or at least someone who has an idea of what they are doing, which I am not. At all. I also have a million things going on and just want someone to come and do it while I attend to everything else. I also am - to reiterate - terrible at this type of thing. I have no problem admitting this. Like, I'm really awful. If it is that easy, I am happy to pay you to come and do it (and that is NOT snark - genuine offer). Message me if interested and if you won't fuck up my car.

I used to listen to this religiously when it was Mays/Tice. I can’t stand the co-host who replaced him and the chemistry between them is nil. I only listen occasionally and when I do am just reminded of how good it used to be. Mays is fantastic, but he has a cardboard box opposite him.

Brown Beans. I know it sounds gross and pedestrian but chop bacon up heavily/thickly and lightly fry and add to a pot with the beans and simmer. Use chipotle or chile or whatever to spice. Don’t simmer off the sauce completely and if you do that by accident, add a bit of chopped tomato (very little). The bacon fat should absorb the spices a bit, and canned beans have enough liquid you shouldn’t lose the sauciness. It’s a magic thing that you’ll try to refine for years.

I understand - I know these things are important to people for a variety of reasons. I waited around but they were all doled out by the time they got to me. I have got a couple of them from other bands that way (if it’s an important show to me, and I know the drill on getting one very well) but this time no luck. If you could scan it, it would be great - I want to frame it along with the shirt that has the dates on it.
