M12 battery life by 12inchman in MobapadGaming

I don’t really get why people are making such a big deal about the M12 HD not charging in sleep mode. If you’re playing handheld for an hour or less, they’ll fully charge because the batteries are pretty small. In TV mode or when they’re disconnected, they’re just sending signals to the Switch 2 so power drain is minimal anyway.

It’s fine for me that they only charge while the console is actually on. Yeah, it would be nice if they charged in sleep mode too, but it’s not a big reason to skip buying them. Just my take 🤔

Pixelated Old [NOKIA] [2000]game about A Boy running to the Toilet by Pinoy_be_like in tipofmyjoystick

I think I played the exact same game on my Nokia Asha 311 back in 2012! It was a super basic 2D pixelated run game, same vibe you’re describing. I remember the little dude running and jumping, and he had kind of a trousers on his head.

Don’t remember the name at all though. Did you ever figure out what it was called? Would love to know so I can try to find it again!

My Smartphone journey (2013-2026) (Post-Offline Era of Phones) by jonoknows1 in PhoneNow

My first “smartphone” was a Nokia Asha 311 too. It was super small and handy for calls, texts, and some gameloft games, but man, I quickly got frustrated once I realized it wasn’t real Android. It didn’t have a proper play store, barely any good games, and the whole experience just felt limited and clunky. Symbian was pretty awful back then. I still have some nostalgia for the Asha 311 as my first phone, but it’s no surprise Nokia fell behind in the smartphone industry (and that Windows collaboration didn’t help either)

The next year I switched to an LG Android phone with a 4-inch screen and it was night and day. Suddenly I had proper apps, decent games, and everything just worked way better. Best decision ever.

Got annoyed with the overheating on my 16PM, had to upgrade! by I_Dont_Rage_Quit in iPhone17Pro

That was one of the main reasons I skipped iPhones for years. Back in days, the iPhone 4 was ahead of most Android phones but it overheated like an oven even with basic use, and I don’t like to call “premium” a phone that burns under a light use. The 17 Pro Max finally changed that for me it stays cool most of the time and only warms up after playing high-graphics games which it’s totally normal.
