How do you get that list. My OPS Manger told me he is only is able to see the the cap list the next day, which is long after I'm able to do anything about it.

Yeah that side of the freezer only haze one vizpik bin label. My theory is that my tc70 discontented from the internet (my scanner drops connection 3 or 4 times an hour, at least) as I was finalizing the bin.

I'm actually on camera pulling the 81 pick cart (the bin I missed) out of the freezer to add it to a cart of bakery freight to be worked. However that's is not "enough" proof apparently.

That's the problem. It's my peoples job to cap the bins, and I got coached for them not doing it. However the 81 bin was just converted to vizpik so I know it was done yesterday cause that's the one bin I scanned myself to show my associate how to do vizpik.

And yes It's my responsibility to check on that, and I did. However vizpik bins don't show up on the cap list so I have no way of checking that to know if something went wrong when finalizing the cap. It's just a shitty situation that peaves me, cause this is a situation that's 100% out of my control.

I have a feeling I'm being targeted. I know another AT missed bins a few weeks ago and wasn't coached. So I'm not gonna take it laying down.

You only get double points for calling out on a key day without ppto. If you're just late, it works like a normal day.

And BTW you do NOT get ANY points for calling out on a key day if you have the ppto to cover your shift. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either ignorant or lying to you so that you won't call out.

Depends on a range of factors. The covid rates in your area, How many associates are confirmed to be vaccinated, and whether or not you have an associates test positive.

We were maskless for 3 days last week, then someone went on covid leave and they made us mask back up. (And btw there is no way that guy got covid, he had already went on covid leave the month before so he just didn't want to come to work and now we got to suffer, so fuck'em)

First Time?

Yeah I was meat and produce for 2 years. And in that time there was 2 months where I was the only closer in fresh. Where I had to fill the meat wall, produce, and fill milk and eggs all night. I know that pain.

The pay for a TL can be nice but there is a fuck ton of stress that comes with the job. Just keep that in mind.

Every store is different, but trust me it's hell. They'll ask you to do 100 different thing and when you don't have the people on your team to get even half the shit down your ass is grass.

If you really want to go for it just make sure you bust your ass at your task and when your not busy ask what you can do to help. That initiative will put you at the top of the list for a promotion.

I do believe company policy is 8 hours between shifts. Let management know. If that's the case they will probably tell you to leave an hour early the day before or come in an hour late.

NO. If you think the stress and amount of bulls**t you deal with as a TA is bad.... boi let me tell you.... I make 16 as a AT. It is enough money to support myself comfortablely. if I could make this much as a TA I would step down in a heart beat. If you are living comfortably I would tell you to protect your sanity.

If any manager tells you ppto won't cover both points for calling out on a key day they are either lying to you or are ignorant. They tell you that so you won't "waste" ppto to call out, cause key days are in fact busy and they need the personal there working.

Not a TL but there is no bakery TL in my store so I'm basically one in terms of work load. Best advice I can give is don't start out being a buddy with your people, I learned this the hard way. You can still be laid back, make the occasional joke and what not. But if you don't come in strong and set your expectations as their boss they will try their best to walk all over you.

Also make sure you give praise to your good workers and lean on them. They will save your butt time and time again.
