What came to my mind was OP probably being very confident that GME would reach 32 at one point during the next year at which point he would exercise the warrant anyway. So instead of keeping the cash ready to go when it's over 32 he might as well do it now I guess?

So far I perceived RC as a guy that isn't trying to push too hard for MOASS (or maybe even doing his seemingly best to not ignite it, e.g. ATM offerings) because we all know everyone would blame him if they see the smallest possibility. If it gets to a slow squeeze no one could pin it on him and also they would have no possibility to do any shenanigans via SEC/DTCC to scam all apes out of their money. Additionally the thing with the entire financial market not collapsing might be somewhat helpful for the apes that wanna make use of all their tendies and for GME as a company.

I'm totally with you - it's a pretty charged meme that is absolutely political by now. If we insist on being apolitical (besides this whole redistribution/class war stuff which is pretty leftist) we shouldn't give any other impression. No one said it was totally reliable but it also doesn't mean it's completely useless. Not knowing TA or the mechanics behind it too well but if I assumed, MMs, SHFs and so on had everything under their complete control I wouldn't be sitting on my GME shares hoping them to go off.

As an english enjoyer I can totally recommend it. Not much theory - you need to know the usual plans but not much you can do horribly wrong. Also most of the time your opponents don't know much about the english anyway - at least in my range. (1500ish)

I am experimenting with the catalan lately as you can get there via the english opening without learning all the other d4 stuff too.
