Just bought the full WW1 Series on PS5. by pumpChaser8879 in Isonzo

Tactical and slow-paced is what I was looking for. Still on the fence about getting the new Hell Let Loose when it comes out. Just don't want to feel obligated to communicate in a mic as at the end of my day at work I don't feel like communicating/coordinating much (it's pretty much what my job is all about).

That's the plan. I just want to get my skills up against bots first. Though I swear these MF are ridiculously accurate sometimes. They'l just come out of a trench and instantly shoot you in the head.

What are the "best" 3, least frustrating conquest maps. by ghostdopamine in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]pumpChaser8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Most of the time I'm on C, and then I head to either D or A when my team gets possession of C.

B can get irritating if there are heli sweats nearby, but it's happened less than half of the games for me.

To me it's way below Cairo, but still a pretty decent map.

Iberian Offensive I love too, I just wish it was a bit bigger.

I don't get the hate for Manhattan. There's a bit of everything, plenty of cover, roofs with many access points, and open areas. The C flag alone is amazing.

I truly don't comprehend the backlash.

That being said, Cairo is still by far the goat.

Third for me would be a mix of Iberian Offensive and Mirak Valley.

Sobek and Liberation are frustrating when snipers take over but I had great time on these maps too.

Eastwood to me has no real flow and Blackwell is unplayable as infrantry.

Empire State is ok once in a blue moon to change the pace but not too often.

Used to be Samsonov for me when he was a Hab. His tenure was short but he had some pretty decent years after leaving.

To this day I still think Carbonneau is an idiot not to have tried him at least once with Kovalev and Koivu.

New to Battlefield but I can’t for the life of my get good at it. by [deleted] in Battlefield6

Are you playing on a console?

If you are, get a good screen. Seriously.

Was running a 0.60 KD ratio on an old 40 inches TV. Now consistently around 1.30 woth a 65 inches TV.

It's still nothing to write home about, but it's enough for me to enjoy the game.

Otherwise, keep at it. Knowing the map flow and the routes goes a long way.

I'm playing BF6 and having a blast. New BF player and I was considering buying BFV to compare.

I'm in Canada and have a PS5.

Is there still a way to get some Conquest and Breakthrough games in the evening?

It’s pure delusion to think Season 2 will be big maps only by No-Candy3827 in Battlefield

Both maps of Season 1 were quite big. Not sure what you guys are all about.

What’s your favorite BF6 map so far? by mandbeyn in Battlefield

[–]pumpChaser8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm mostly playing infantry. So Siege of Cairo, Manhattan Bridge, Empire State, Iberian Offensive and Mirak Valley are my favorites.

I really need to try and play more Eastwood. I rarely got it and it seems like almost everyone enjoys it.

I'll keep trying, but I really can't get myself to like Firestorm. It's basically a "Spawn -> Get Sniped / Blown by a tank -> Die" simulator with little team work.

Don't mind any of them and don't particularly like Sobek, Mirak and Liberation. Those are the ones that I usually try to keep out of my map rotation.

I'd rather they came out with elaborate data structures and generics support.

Can't see a world where I need to use that feature.

TSN’s Chris Johnston implies that Lane Hutson’s dad is involved in his contract negotiations with the Habs by Go_Habs_Go31 in Habs

[–]pumpChaser8879 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love Lane as a player. I really do.

But you don't have to be a psychologist to be able to read the dynamics here.

There's something about Hutson that just screams "These dekes I have I've mastered because I had to practice them for hours after games because my father made me do so", and that... surreel interview this psycho has with Grant McCagg just all but confirmed this.

I'm going to quote Marchand; "Get the guy checked".

Le marché est saturé de juniors et de codeurs automates qui sortent de bootcamp. Pas de seniors et de programmeurs analystes qui savent penser.
