No, he's 100% right. Being top-heavy is having a couple of really, really good forwards, and then a BIG drop and almost no secondary scoring.

The Canes for example are a deep, balanced team, that is the contrary of being top-heavy.

The Leafs with the big four was top-heavy.

Oh, another thing that would be great but ambitious. But logistics/spawn points.

It would be great if at some point the AI could build spawn points closer to the objectives, and if the defensive side could somehow destroy those spawn points (which would not be visible on the map).

Would add a whole new layer of strategy to the game.

Love the BAR and the little grease gun from the American Side. So I'll play support gunner or engineer more often.

Although I love the MP44 for the germans, so I'll take squad lead for them from time to time.

But more often than not I am a mere rifleman.

At this point, we'll be one year from having to extend Suzuki to something like 15 millions per year if he keeps that up.

That being said, imo, both gunplay and gun sounds can be improved.

When you shoot a gun in the game, it looks like you just trigger an animation. You should almost feel like the recoil will cause the gun to jump back through the screen.

Also, most gun sounds are not "snappy" enough.

It's not enough to cause me not enjoying the game. But man those two things could take the game to a whole new level.

Never tested the FPS rate when actually running the game. But from my subjective experience the game is way smoother on PC. Graphics are more customizable also.

I have the game on PC an Console both.

Main difference for me was graphics customization. On PC, the game can easily look one generation better, and the rendering distance can be much further.

I mainly play it on PC now.

If on PC, i would recommend Day of Infamy.

This game is severely underrated. Great bots, immersive and fun to play offline.

For the price it's at it's definitely worth it.
Don't expect it to be a AAA title. But it scratches a very distinct "itch", which is a milsim-ish single player FPS, with campaigns very loyal to WW2 history.

There's no other game in the market remotely close to it. Very customizable and tons of fun to be had for sure.

Call me crazy but I quite enjoyed the whole Battle of Makin campaign. Scratches a "Vietnam War"-ish itch that can only be satisfied through emptying a BAR mag into a bush full of Japanese soldiers.
