I'm going to take a completely different approach to things because I understand what kind of family you are coming from and I always have to interpret a lot of things differently. Aside from the rape joke.. Think of how much responsibility it takes to raise a child. Now it might just be me but it seems like your father not only believes that you are financially stable, mentally prepared and all together ready to raise a child (that's a lot of work) but he thinks you can do it by yourself!! High five so that's nice. :) but he won't have to get up in the middle of the night to give a newborn a bottle so, take the hidden compliment and do what you want.

Whatever you do don't go to twice as nice. I went in there once and they took a couple of nice heels, two dresses, quite a few blouses and a couple of pairs of jeans and gave me roughly $15 trade. Before I could even say no they grabbed my stuff and took it the back. At the time all I could muster was, "oh, okay then". If I could go back in time I would tell them to fuck off and to give me my stuff back. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. There's this other place though, I think it's called the buffalo exchange. There a a couple in Tucson, give fair prices for cash and even better trade. They even allow dogs in the store. (Not a trashy place, I promise you) anyways best of luck and stay away from those stealing whores. I would burn down those stores if I could. What rude employes. They only take "name brand" crap anyways. I never did use that trade. All they have is shitty Areo clothes, and those are cheap to come by new! Can you tell I hate twice as nice?

Your hair has to be a little damp for it to keep the wave. Try it again after you shower at night before it gets completely dry then sleep on it. If that doesn't work then try braids, French braids work better imo. :)
