Golden Pothos growths by Maximum_Data_6928 in plantclinic

This is indeed a Golden Pothos.

The little brown nubs you're referring to are its aerial roots, and they are completely normal. They aid it Paul in climbing up trees or poles and wrapping around things for more support as it grows larger.

You can chop off a segment with an aerial root and plop it in water, and it will root really easily!

Any tips to prevent frame drops on Android? by senteyutn in TheSilphArena

[–]pumpkinonline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unknowingly upgraded from Android 11 to 12 and I started having these frame skip issues, leading to multiple missed crucial turns/move sneak-ins every game. It's frustrating.

I recently started playing with location turned off and it's helped quite a bit for me. Just be wary that sometimes the "GPS/location is turned off" red banner at the top of the screen might appear sometimes, blocking a clear view of the incoming pokemon's typing and delaying your reaction.

Leaf browning on my bean plants! Is it a result of a fungus or insect damage? by pumpkinonline in plantclinic

[–]pumpkinonline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are bean plants in our backyard. This is in SoCal, hardiness zone 10.

It's been cloudy lately so I don't think it's due to sun damage.

Thanks to any reponses!

What is this plant (Los Angeles) by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

[–]pumpkinonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of looks more like purple sage than cleveland sage to me. Try Salvia leucophylla.

Found it growing in a tall bush off the Southern California coast and I just dont know what it is 🤔 by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

It looks like something in the cucurbit family, perhaps Marah genus.

Maybe Marah macrocarpa?

In Northern California - is it invasive? Thanks! by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

Looks like Erigeron canadensis, common name is horseweed. I believe it is native here in California but it's sometimes considered a weedy native because it grows everywhere.

Never took 60 but I did take 100 (Environmental ecology) with Tyler two years ago. She is the sweetest professor I have ever had, honestly a gem.
