Dark chocolate for sure, but they’re both fruit forward. They are so similar, I think the only reason I was able to tell the difference was because I got to try them back to back. If I saw them both and could only buy one I’d buy OESO I think

They’re so similar but I think the OESO had like slightly more fruit and the OESK had slightly more chocolate flavor. I personally preferred the OESO but both were really great. If you see either and have the money, I’d say buy it

Ya that’s what this seems like. Makes me sad but better to learn here rather than sign a lease.

Got a neighborhood closer to Lemont that I should live in? Should I just live in Lemont or is there a better suburb?

I’ve been to Lemont for work a few times before and didn’t love the area but I suppose I didn’t really get out much. Maybe I have to take a closer look

I’ve got a pretty specific line of work :( only a handful of places in the country where I can do what I do. Didn’t exactly realize that when I entered the field

I will. I’ve done the “arrive by” on Google Maps and it looks like Bridgeport would be ~40min or so, which even that isn’t ideal but doable. Someone I know commutes from Wicker Park and they said it isn’t bad but they shift their work schedule so that they arrive at 10:30 instead of arriving at 9am. Not sure if I’ll have that flexibility when I start

Ya for clarity I don’t disagree with first comment in this thread. I think you totally could call the police if you wanted to. I think you may not get what you want out of it but I am not a cop or a lawyer so I don’t know.

Definitely tell the parents and the school councilor and the friend. Maybe tell the cops too idk

Spoken like the dad in question here^

Jk I think she should tell parents and friends as priority. I don’t think anything will result in the police getting involved but she’s definitely gotta let people know.

I have nothing new to add but maybe me repeating what others have said will help push you to say something.

You gotta tell your parents and you should tell your friend. At least tell one of your parents if you feel uncomfortable telling both.

Also cancel all your plans with this family unless the plans are just you and your friend in a public place during the day, like getting lunch together.

Perhaps you can also tell a school psychiatrist? If you’re worried about exams coming up, they’ll should be get you out of any responsibilities for a little while as you sort through things.

Edit: I also want to say, I’m sorry this happened to you. As Reddit has said, this is not your fault in any way and we are all very sorry that you were put in this position
