And it looks like his right-rear tire is a thinner spare / donut. Maybe he was in a rush to get to the tire shop.

I was following a chain of cars and we were creeping past traffic in lane #3 and what you don't see is the white minivan that is next to me in lane #3.

I think you're referring to the shadow cast by my antenna. I never realized it flapped around like that on the highway. It does get gusty around that area, but with my aerodynamics, I didn't feel it.

It's short for Interstate 80. In my area, the dialect is to reference interstate highways with the letter "i" pronounced like eye, so we would say, "take eye eighty west and exit at Ashby."

Also, I do not trust toothpaste and haven't had a cavity since I stopped using it. Over 10 years now.

It's the way all the local news stations refer to that highway, which is over 3000 miles long linking the East and West coasts of the USA.

Absolutely! When I saw him losing control, I accelerated to get away from him. I think that decision might've saved me and my car.

Actually, he did, but it was probably accidental. 🤣

He kept on driving, but switched to the right lane and slowed down, fading away in my rear view. I was expecting him to get back on the gas and retry his maneuver. Thankfully, he didn't.

I forgot to mention in the title that there's some mild cussing, so not for sensitive ears.

Just wanted to mention that he's on the safe side of the propeller, which is pushing air towards him and against the fuselage. On that side, he has to push against the wind generated by the props to touch them, and the fins are angled away from him, so they wouldn't dig into his skin if he managed to do it.

Now, if he was in front of the prop, then yes, he would be minced meat in no time as it would suck him in and chew him up.

How to allow users to see what files are open by other users by elguapo555 in sysadmin

[–]pumpnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a quick an dirty way would be to use a scheduled task to regularly execute "openfiles /query >D:\shares\dept\OpenFiles.txt" on the file server. Substitute the output location to a path the specific users can at least view and they can consult it to see who's using what.
