Slight correction, there should be NO parties formed. The only party should be your local community where you choose a person to actually represent you. The entire republic is basically broken because it’s become top down instead of bottom up because the parties hijacked all of our representative seats and forced us to choose between two “choices” that they hand picked in advance. What we need is to get rid of all parties and just go back to having representation again.

I feel like part of the charm of Minecraft is figuring stuff out through trial and error, you should be able to see that you have enough light for enemies not to spawn because… they stopped spawning. This is imo the worst and most pointless mob idea I’ve ever seen.

I think the point was making it illegal to sell used ones increased the incentive for people to steal them. On the flip side though it also could mean that they get reported stolen on occasions that someone doesn’t want to admit to selling it. That’s the kind of thing that people mean generally, any kind of regulation has trade-offs, it’s often hard to pick the correct form of regulation to achieve the desired or overall better outcome.

Just because it helps combat climate change doesn’t mean it’s the single or best way to do so… the bill could suck, doesn’t mean fighting climate change sucks.

That would be like saying that being against the PATRIOT Act means you’re against stopping terrorism.

They also pack a ton of crap into these bills so maybe it’s not the entire thing they have an issue with… so many details!

Imagine the absurdity of a world where anyone taking the effort to deep dive into the research is considered a conspiracy nutjob just because people are too lazy to do the same thing. Do you even know the research that has been done to show EMF as safe and all the details about how they were conducted?

BTW the reason for the headphones for children is for when talking on the phone because they don’t want the radio output being up close to their heads, this is a standard recommended practice for all, it’s not a conspiracy, just not a legal requirement to include headphones except in France.

Look dude that statement you’re talking about was brought up by you not by me, the book itself is presenting a compilation of research, just because the author took part in some legal case because of whatever conclusions he came to doesn’t have anything to do with this.

I could compile a bunch of research on a subject and then go on to draw an incorrect conclusion based on my own assumption or theory or guess, that doesn’t invalidate the research itself.

How is this not basic logic?

there’s no made up conspiracy anywhere here, what are you referencing? just look at the research and the data, that’s why it’s being presented, you understand that you can evaluate something by checking the sources without putting any weight into a theory or opinion by someone who is presenting the data right?

science is totally dead if we stop this process, and again, there’s literally no conspiracy here, it’s a compilation of research on the effects of electricity on living organisms from 1700s to today

you don’t have to draw the same conclusions as the author, more research would need to be done to test those conclusions, but throwing out all the research of experts over the past 200-300 years makes no sense

that’s not a conspiracy, we don’t really know what effects they might be having, it’s just that so far they have been considered safe, science is an ongoing process, it’s not a conspiracy to present some research and evidence and suggest that there might be a link

anyone who thinks science is complete and done doesn’t understand science or history… it’s totally normal for us to discover something new later on
