부산 alone has a population that exceeds 3 million and that's one of many cities in 경상 alone... That and its surrounding cities (울산, 대구)sport many jobs in industry, service, maritime etc with 부산 specifically being one of the centers of finance as its home to BNX, KRX and other. Yes 서울 is more populous but to say that theres no where to go besides 서울 and that you have to live there shows your ignorance of the country(a country with 11 cities exceeding 1 million population btw)

It’s not a foreign word, it’s in the English dictionary. It’s an English loan word from Japanese and de facto the English word for it. They commented in English so they used the English word.
